My approach is welcoming, compassionate, non-judgmental, understanding, and you can be sure that I have your best interests at heart. I do recognize the fact that coming in for therapy could be one of the hardest things for clients to do. The main objective is to help clients collaboratively become whole again and finding their inner balance and peace. You will find a safe place to talk about relationship issues (family, divorce, break-ups), anxiety, depression, grief/bereavement, life transitions, as well as your crisis situations. After all, these things affect you and any relationship you have. No issue is too big or too small. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need some objective support, I am here for you.
Clients are seen as unique individuals with unique needs and counselling will be addressed accordingly. This means we talk about what matters to you – where you’ve been, where you’re at, and where you want to be in order to have a healthy relationship with all the people in your life.
During counselling, I use an integrative approach of person-centered therapy, existential therapy, solution-focused brief therapy as well as cognitive behaviour therapy.
