I identify as a neurodivergent, cis-gender, white, settler, woman. My identity and lived experiences with mental health inform my work with clients. My approach is centered on working collaboratively with my clients so that their values, goals, and world view are at the heart of our work together.
- I aim to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space through a warm and curious stance that centers on my clients as the experts of their own lives, prioritizing client autonomy.
- I am a visual artist and curious about bringing artistic expression into my work with clients. I believe human experiences must be understood within the context they occur, because of this I take an anti-oppressive and intersectional approach to working with clients.
- I take an integrative approach to therapy believing that there is no single answer or approach for all.
The process of seeking and engaging with therapy is often not easy or simple. I encourage you to reach out for a consult if you think I may be a good fit for you. To book a consult, please email charlotte@phoebechin.com.
