I am a Yorkville Masters’ Graduate in Psychology, and I hope to provide a place where individuals can explore their most pressing concerns, fears, problems, or any aspect of their life, personality, or cognition that they wish to better understand or improve upon.
In life, all individuals will encounter conflict, resistance, malevolence, chaos, and obstacles; when our ability to understand and overcome these trials is compromised, these obstacles transform from typical struggles to unsolvable psychological or social problems. We do our best to stay emotionally stable and disciplined, but we do not always know how, or possess the mental and social resources to maintain this balance. That is where I wish to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and resources to unlock new parts of your psyche and personality, and in some sense be reborn psychologically in order to better contend with the world.
Individuals who struggle with these seemingly unsolvable problems, or experience a loss of meaning or purpose in life; those that find it difficult to navigate social or family situations, or cannot understand the nature of potential pathologies that they may be experiencing; please feel welcome and encouraged to share what it means to be in your situation and your life. We will work together to continue striving forward in life, bettering oneself and others, and achieving the goals that give you purpose and meaningfulness.
My style of psychotherapy will centre on exploring the psyche and shadow using depth psychology, and expanding the Self and personality through individuation, dream analysis, and self-reflection. I hold traditionally Judeo-Christian values, and the philosophies of Marcus Aurelius concerning temperance, insight, and emotional stability in adversity. I am non-judgemental, and believe that all individuals are made in the image of God, possess inherent, divine worth, and all are capable of goodness and greatness within them.
