Have you found yourself consistently anxious, unable to relax, or lacking control over your emotions? Are you having difficulty coping with stress in a healthy manner? We cannot control all aspects of life, but we can make stress more manageable. My goal is to work together to develop the necessary skills and mindset changes to manage the issues in your life. I will help you become more mindful of the mind and body connection and how it affects you personally. With this knowledge, and through a holistic lens, we will then create goals and help you form skills to fit your personal needs and desired therapeutic outcomes. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist who meets the requirements of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am trained in various modalities but draw mainly from my training in Trauma-Informed, Strengths-Based, Mindfulness-Based approaches, as well as Cognitive-Behavioural and Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy. I have also completed my certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist- Individual. My specialties are working with stress, anxiety, depression, body image and life transitions. My background in Kinesiology and Dance Movement Therapy has led me to specialize in helping people strengthen their connection between the mind and body. Together, I hope we can work towards making you feel empowered and in control of your own life. I look forward to being there on this path to healing with you! I offer a free 15-minute consultation to get to know each other. Please get in touch with me via email for more information.
