As a client-centred therapist, I believe the therapeutic experience should be individualized to suit my client’s goals and strengths. I am to help clients collaboratively to learn how to process their past, resolve their problems and healthily cope with their struggles. I focus on assisting people with processing traumatic experiences, stress/anxiety, emotional well-being and improving their self-esteem and assertiveness skills. I aim to foster greater self-understanding, mindfulness and feelings of empowerment.
As a therapist, I draw from many modalities, with a focus on DBT, Trauma-informed therapy, IFS, and Somatic techniques. My background in Psychology, Kinesiology and Dance Movement therapy has led me to approach clients holistically. I believe in the strong connection between the mind and body and that healing both is essential to the therapeutic process as it lets us look beyond just the seen symptoms but on a deeper level.
