As a queer first-generation immigrant, I struggled with feelings of shame and isolation in exploring my gender and sexual identity, while also adjusting to a new country. I hesitated for a long time to reach out for support, thinking no one would understand my experience. When I finally accessed therapy, I felt a huge weight lifted and big shifts started to happen. This transformative experience motivated me to start my own therapy practice centered on inclusivity, anti-oppression, and decolonization. My practice is relational and client-centered, meaning trust building is the basis of our work together. I use somatic approaches to help you understand yourself by strengthening the mind-body connection. I also use creative experiments to make exploring repeating patterns more easy and playful. If you are feeling uprooted in the face of life transitions or are struggling to figure out who you are and where you belong, I am here to walk with you on your path to new possibilities. I invite you to reach out for a free 15 – 30 min phone or video consultation so we can learn more about each other.
