About…

It can be difficult to live in the world with a sense of peace in yourself. Many have suffered adverse life experiences that get in the way of connecting to the world and the full life you are seeking. I can not only work with you on developing the tools you need to cope and manage better, but also to get at the root cause of your pain and suffering.  We can work together on your goals, leading to improved self-awareness, emotional balance, and healing from past traumas. My hope is to promote compassion for oneself and enhance your relationships by reducing defensive reactions and fostering deeper connections.

I have 20 years experience working with clients struggling with a variety of issues, including addictions, trauma, sexual abuse, childhood neglect and abandonment and people in recovery from psychosis. I also have experience working with the Indigenous population, youth and seniors. I offer a strength and evidence-based approach.  I offer direct billing for Indigenous clients registered with the NIHB.

I work from a variety of models, including building coping skills using CBT and DBT strategies, including mindfulness based approaches. I also use EMDR Therapy and Parts Work (IFSCA trained) to get at the root cause of your suffering and help you work towards a greater sense of peace.
