(She/Her) I believe psychotherapy offers a unique opportunity to engage in self and interpersonal exploration and make meaningful connections. It is a place where together, we can navigate life’s many challenges and work to develop strength and resilience. I hope to offer a safe and supportive space in which to process, heal, and grow, and work to bring insight, awareness, and self-compassion into the therapeutic space. I utilize an integrative client-centered approach and draw from a number of therapeutic methods to tailor my approach to each individual person. Therapy can be a space to discuss any topic, no matter how big or small, such as exploring burnout, overwhelm, and boundaries, and focuses on accessing and creating resources, exploring emotions, understanding thoughts and behaviours.
I have been a Registered Psychotherapist for 6 years with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and I utilize an integrative client-centered approach. I have extensive experience with disordered eating, family challenges, communication issues, and trauma, and completed my MEd. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor and offer individual and dyadic supervision to RPs, RP (Qualifying), and MSWs. My philosophy is to build supervisory relationships based on curiosity, compassion, warmth, and knowledge, and to create an environment where you can reflect on your practice without fear of judgment and explore what you enjoy, what you find difficult, and where you may benefit from further training and guidance.
If you are interested in or curious about counselling or supervision, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation. In this call, we can discuss what brings you to therapy or supervision, explore if we are a good fit to work together, and discuss additional details regarding expectations, fees, and scheduling! I hope we get to connect soon.
