Are you feeling overwhelmed? Stressed? Down? Alone? Wondering if things are “bad enough” for counselling? You don’t have to wait until you are in crisis to reach out! Sometimes life can feel messy, but you don’t have to go it alone. I can help by providing you with a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings, with compassionate, professional guidance and support. believe that every individual is unique and there is no cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all method to therapy, so I take a person-centered approach that positions you as the expert on yourself and me as your guide and support. You and I will work together collaboratively to define the problem, explore factors that are contributing to the difficulties or challenges you are facing, create long-term goals, and develop a plan to help you get to where you want to be. Currently I work with youth 16+, individual adults, and couples, using approaches that include IFS, EFT, and CBT.
Counselling is not just for those with a labelled mental health condition. I work with YOU, not your diagnosis. My counselling approach is tailored to your needs and is informed by the concerns you bring – the areas you have identified as a challenge. Everyone needs some extra support sometimes, not just those with a formal mental health diagnosis!
I know first-hand the difference that non-judgmental support can make when we are facing challenges but sometimes it can be intimidating to reach out. How do you know if a counsellor will be the right fit? I offer a free 15 minute relaxed and casual virtual consultation to discuss your needs and get a sense of what it would be like to work together.
Counselling is offered virtually across Canada via secure video.
Low-cost spaces are limited and I ask that you select that option if it is reflective of your true financial need. Sliding scale spaces are available for those who do not require the low-cost rate but are not able to access services at the full rate.
