As uniquely vast dimensional beings, there is no one way to approach mental health and wellness. My aim is to provide space, guidance, and support in the areas of life you are seeking understanding, acceptance, and/or change. Counselling/Psychotherapy is a tool to help provide the space to process change in life and a place for your goals.
My foundational approach is mindfulness-based as a trained yoga practitioner. I have taught mindfulness and meditation 6 years in the community to children, teens and adults. Alongside this work, I have been a goals and leadership coach in a large-scale organization. However, the approach will be one that we trace together depending on the change you are looking to make.
My primary language is English, avec du moyenne niveau de Français, and a love of poetry.
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a licensed Registered Psychotherapist. I received training through a Master of Counselling Psychology (MCP) from Yorkville University with a specialization in trauma care. Prior to counselling, I studied how we understand our environments through language and the various senses of sight, sound, touch, smell, taste through a Master of Cognitive Psychology (MSC) at the University of Western Ontario.
I do blend these experiences together every time I step into this very human-to-human work of counselling and psychotherapy with you.
