Life presents many challenges; it’s not always bright. Real hardships exist, inequities are widespread, and there are numerous reasons for sorrow. However, amidst all of this, there is also beauty. Whether you are dealing with challenging thoughts, feelings, memories, transitions, or simply need someone to talk to, I am here to offer support and understanding. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counseling Psychology student under clinical supervision, I aim to create a safe, accessible, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore and honour your story at the pace that feels right for you.
Through my own experiences with mental health challenges, I have grown a deep commitment to supporting individuals to build valuable resources for coping, and cultivating greater fulfillment, and empowerment in their lives. In therapy, we’re provided with rare opportunities to embrace vulnerability, honesty, bravery, and introspection — values I deeply honor throughout our journey together as therapist and client. Together, we will work to help you get into alignment with your values, needs, and goals.
As a queer, disabled, and neurodivergent therapist, I approach counseling through an anti-oppressive, intersectional, trauma-informed lens. Grounded in an integrative approach, I draw from narrative therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), family systems theory, attachment theory, and person-centered, psychodynamic, and strength-based perspectives.
