About…

Advocating Hope Has Immediate Availability.   After many years of providing psychotherapy services at local hospitals and school boards I did not feel ready to retire.  I am passionate about my work and see it more as a calling than a “job.”   This career path meant that I could pursue my interest in mentoring other psychotherapist and interns and provide support for indigenous individuals.

We at Advocating Hope recognize you have struggled on your own. We are in awe of your commitment to change. We can offer you an environment in which you can share without feeling judged; an impartial ear to bounce ideas, concerns, and untold events; a practical and wholistic approach to explore your struggles; an environment renewing your own skills or developing new ones; a way to discover the differences between perceptions and facts and how to develop innovative ways to look at an old issue.

I and my interns use an eclectic approach and often use CBT, DBT, EFT, Interpersonal, and much more. We at Advocating Hope see our roles as therapists as being a conduit for change and that these tools are a resource, we can offer to you.

When working for hospitals there were often long waitlists and the cost of seeing a therapist in private practice was often a barrier. It is for that reason our team is comprised of MACP Candidates who are Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Psychotherapist of Ontario.  I personally provide the team clinical supervision, so you benefit from my years of experience and their most innovative training. By working with one of the team members the wait times are almost non-existent, and the cost is vastly reduced.

Please feel free to reach out for a cost free consultation to discover if we are a good match for you.
