For individuals and couples, we can focus on healing and self-discovery, including for your relationship, sex/intimacy matters, anxiety, depression, anger and identity. I worked as a family law lawyer for over four years, and I’m a husband and father, so I’ve experienced family dynamics, conflict and transformations. Your story, goals, hardships, feelings, values and desires matter, and I bring an empathic and analytical style, helping clients seek the heart of their concerns, discover themselves, and negotiate the reality they want, including through inclusive and queer-affirming support.
In sessions, as a kind of co-traveller, I’m focused on being with the client and understanding them and their concerns. At other times the work is more introspective, discovering what lives in the unconscious that impacts how we act and think. With a largely person-centered and psychoanalytical approach, we can work on meaningful change and healing.
