About…

My name is Max (they/them) and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Guelph. I completed a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. With my background in both biology and psychology, I can help you develop a deeper understanding of why you’re feeling the way you do. I strive to create a collaborative space where you can be your whole self without judgment. I understand how it feels to be stuck, to lack purpose, and to be overwhelmed by big emotions without knowing how to cope with them. Together, we can begin to make sense of your thoughts, feelings and actions so you can move forward towards your best life. In working with clients, I integrate elements from modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy in order to tailor the experience to meet your needs. I look forward to working with you!
