I am a counsellor and the founder of Mindset Solutions Counselling. I focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment virtually, to help clients with their challenges. Before starting my business, I worked in the scientific field of microbiology. My passion for learning and helping people has now moved me into the helping profession under the supervision of a registered psychotherapist. I also volunteer my time to Mental health copilots and the BeaYoutiful Foundation. Outside work, I like spending time with my three young children and reading psychology books. I have two published papers within the field of psychology and have a BSc in Life sciences from The Open University and a master’s in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. To quote Heraclitus – There is nothing permanent except change. I find a great sense of pride in helping clients navigate periods of change. Although yes, change is inevitable it can sometimes leave us feeling lost, overwhelmed and unsure of the next steps. I like to help clients decide on what course of action this change period will bring them, whether they have lost a job, changed career or entered into retirement. Whether you struggle with persistent troubling thoughts or feelings, are overwhelmed by events that are out of your control, or just want to get in touch with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your life, therapy can help.
