Life can be difficult at times, and it’s not always easy to ask for support. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn, you’re not alone. I’m here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly heard and understood. We’ll work together at your pace to explore what you’re going through and move toward meaningful, lasting change—guided by your unique goals and needs.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you feel heard and respected. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the root causes of emotional distress and to help navigate life transitions or challenges that may be keeping you stuck. Our work together will be tailored to your unique needs and goals, with a personalized approach that prioritizes your success.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy from Yorkville University. I also completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour at McMaster University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Brain Disorders Management from Mohawk College.
I have experience supporting adolescents and adults coping with general life stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and interpersonal relationship challenges. In addition, I bring insight into high-performance environments, with 18 years of experience as a competitive equestrian. I understand the pressures and anxiety that can arise in elite athletic settings and have a special interest in performance-related concerns, including confidence, anxiety, relationships with coaches or teammates, career development, athlete identity, perfectionism, burnout, and recovery from injuries or concussions.
My integrative approach is tailored to your specific needs and may draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered techniques, and mindfulness-based interventions.
You’ll be met with warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental environment where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges together while building the skills needed to move forward.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions (via phone or video), to meet you wherever you are in your journey.
