About…

I am a compassionate and empathetic psychotherapy intern, ready to walk alongside you on your journey to healing, growth, and self-discovery. I believe in creating a warm and nurturing environment where clients can explore their challenges and uncover their inner strengths. With an approach rooted in empathy and support, I create a safe and non-judgmental space you can feel heard and understood. Using a client-centered approach, I tailor sessions to address each client’s specific needs and goals. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I am dedicated to discovering the most effective strategies and techniques for each client. Through collaboration, I am committed to assisting clients in recognizing their strengths, overcoming obstacles, and achieving a life of purpose and fulfillment.

Education:

  • Master of Art in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (ongoing)
  • Diploma of Professional Counselling from Vancouver College of Counsellor Training (with Counselling for Intimacy in Relationships Certificate)
  • Bachelor of Arts Honours in Sociology from University of Toronto
