Repeated experiences of stress, adversity, or trauma can create a disconnect from our authentic selves, leading us to develop habits and ways of coping that may no longer serve us. When things don’t work out the way we had hoped, unhelpful thoughts can make us doubt ourselves, making us feel like we’re lost, stuck, or not good enough. Please know that you’re not alone in feeling this way. We all have these moments, varying in intensity.
In therapy, I offer a supportive space where we can work together to help you build the life you desire. I can help you learn new skills to manage difficult thoughts and feelings. We will explore your thoughts, triggers, and beliefs without judgment, helping you understand how they influence your emotions and actions. With this awareness, you can cultivate self-compassion, reconnect with your authentic self, and learn to respond to challenges in a more intentional way.
My approach combines Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailored to your unique needs. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, assisting adults experiencing overwhelm, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, shame, relational challenges, grief, and life transitions to manage their well-being. My goal is to walk alongside you, meeting your difficulties with curiosity, gentleness, and understanding.
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” – Rumi
