Hello, I’m Taylor!
I always say – life has 3 guarantees: constant work, pain and change/uncertainty. We are all going to experience these things at one point or another, and when it’s present, it’s not uncommon to feel disconnected and overwhelmed. I’m here to help you rediscover your way back to balance and well-being.
My philosophy is simple: many of our struggles, whether they’re related to trauma, relationships, life transitions, family conflicts, or anxiety, can often be traced back to disconnection – from yourself and from others. Connection is crucial and it is a universal basic human need. When trauma occurs, we often stray away from this in order to avoid being hurt again. This avoidance of difficult things, on top of not recognizing your ability to conquer them – can often lead us to a place of feeling stuck.
In my practice, I don’t resort to complex therapy jargon or quick fixes. Instead, we’ll work together to understand and address the challenges you’re facing. This might include avoidance of feeling emotions or uncomfortability, a lack of self-understanding, or negative thought patterns about yourself and your relationships. I’m here to provide a supportive and judgment-free space where we can collaborate to break down these barriers and help you reestablish those vital bonds with yourself and others. No topic is off limits. I believe in showing up raw, real and authentically myself in sessions, so you feel like you can too.
