Marc-Anthony Racco

Are you struggling to maintain relationships? Maybe you feel disconnected, unable to get through the day without negative thought patterns. As a psychotherapist, I specialize in relational and childhood trauma. However, I work with individuals who have faced various life challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and attachment difficulties. Holding a queer identity and crisis counselling background, my therapeutic space is highlighted in inclusivity, incorporating anti-oppressive and strength-based frameworks to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to express your thoughts freely.

My sessions often take a client-centred approach, creating a collaborative process of unlearning damaging self-beliefs, practicing healthy coping skills, and reclaiming your life through newly formed self-awareness. This is your journey, and I will work closely with you to develop a treatment plan specific to your unique needs and goals.

I view trauma as a relational experience. Not only is it often experienced in relations with others, but it is also the new development of healthy relationships that can assist in healing. Because of this, I invite you to contact me for a free 20-minute consultation to explore whether my supportive services are the best fit for you.

Sarah Graham

Hello, I am Sarah

I’m glad you are here.  Each time you feel let down, disappointed, discouraged or despondent it’s not permanent.  There’s another breath of air where you can exhale that feeling, shake out your body and know that you have another chance to heal, to grow and to transform.

Even after the same mistakes or misgivings, you are not the same. You’ve learned something. You’re not the same person each time you get caught doing the same thing over again.  It’s okay to be learning.

Growth is painful as we let go of the old ways of being, the old destructive thoughts and allow new ways of being to take root.  This is the process of therapy and I’m here to support you through it.

My Approach

I honour who you are and I’ll meet you where you are as of today. My job is not to judge you, instead I will encourage and support you to be your whole self so you can bring forward the shame, guilt, or fear. This is how we can move through it. When hidden and held in these feelings take root. When we bring it to light and feel safe enough to share it, it cannot remain!

In session we’ll discuss and process what you need to that day. I focus on childhood experiences when they are relevant to how you are living now. Our young years can impact our relationships with ourselves and with others even now! I use neurodevelopment, the way our brains develop, to help you identify stuck unhelpful patterns and bring liberating change to your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

During our sessions I’ll both lean in and sit back to hear about you. I’ll encourage you to share more and expand where it is therapeutically important for us to venture. We’ll have conversations together to learn more about who you are, how you think, why you do what you do, and where you want to go in your life. We’ll define the goals you want to achieve and determine how I can support you specifically in your unique growth and expression of life.

During our session my job is to listen deeply, reflect authentically and to challenge you to do the same both for yourself and for the relationships you want to nurture in your life.

Through this journey my goal is to support you to live with the freedom to be yourself and thrive in the life you build.

We all want to be well, to express our unique and beautiful versions of ourselves.
