My training in spiritually integrated Psychotherapy, Music Therapy, and Christian Counselling equip me to journey with you as you integrate your experiences in our world with your goals and needs.

Within a client-focused, strength-based, non-judgemental relationship, I work with people from all walks and stages of life, grounding, encouraging, and supporting you in your journey.  I use a  “care” model for therapy.

I have walked alongside clients with many challenges including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, faith and spiritual issues, neurodivergence, trauma, abuse, personality disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, autism, and more.

My name is Ashley and I am a Mental Health therapist working at YEG Family Counselling, under the supervision of Amy Nydam.

The best part about that for my clients is that I offer low-fee therapy!  I am an avidly-learning attachment nerd, and I have a special interest in working with couples, anxiety, trauma, greif and loss, and eating disorders. 

My focus is to help clients understand how early relationships and experiences shape attachment styles and patterns in later life.  I work work with clients to explore these patterns and develop healthier, more secure attachments. I use an Emotion-Focused approach that integrates and mindfulness and somatic awareness to help clients improve their relationships and overall well-being.

My Ideal Client

I work with individual adults, couples, and families. I especially love working with:

  • Clients struggling with body dysmorphia
  • Clients with anxiety and other mood disorders
  • Families and couples where mental health struggles are getting in the way of their connection

In my work with clients, I am warm but practical and approach every person that steps into my therapy space with compassion. I also spend a LOT of my time learning, researching, planning, and discussing my clients with more experienced clinicians. In a way, when you work with me, you get triple the time for half the rate. I am currently able to offer equity rates as low as $55 dollars per session.
