“Be kind to yourself, friend” – Ted Lasso
As a therapist, I am passionate about facilitating positive change and empowering individuals to rewrite their life narratives. Grounded in solution-focused and narrative therapy approaches, my practice centres on fostering resilience, uncovering strengths, and co-creating new solutions and narratives that honour each person’s unique journey.
Informed by solution-focused principles, I believe in concentrating on the present and future possibilities rather than dwelling on past struggles. Together, we identify and amplify your existing strengths and resources, while exploring small, achievable steps that move you closer to your desired outcomes. Together, we embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, embracing the power of narrative to shape a more hopeful, purposeful, and fulfilling future.
My personal journey with therapy was what inspired me to pursue becoming a therapist. At a time where I was experiencing hardships with my own self-esteem, life-transitions, and relationships, I turned to counselling to help guide me towards positive transformation and change. Through this first-hand experience, I witnessed the profound impact that therapy can have on an individual’s life, which fostered a sense of desire within me to help guide others towards a similar transformative experience.
With a commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity, I create a safe and affirming space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Whether you are navigating issues related to self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, or other challenges, I offer compassionate support and guidance tailored to their unique needs and goals.
