It can be difficult to live in the world with a sense of peace in yourself. Many have suffered adverse life experiences that get in the way of connecting to the world and the full life you are seeking. I can not only work with you on developing the tools you need to cope and manage better, but also to get at the root cause of your pain and suffering.  We can work together on healing and moving forward, free from the pain that has held you back from living your best life and connecting to the world in a way where you are truly your authentic self, living your best life.

I have 18 years experience working with clients struggling with a variety of issues, including addictions, trauma, sexual abuse, childhood neglect and abandonment and people in recovery from psychosis. I also have experience working with the Indigenous population, youth and seniors. I offer a strength and evidence-based approach.

I work from a variety of models, including building coping skills using CBT and DBT strategies, including mindfulness based approaches. I also use EMDR Therapy and Parts Work to get at the root cause of your suffering and work towards actually healing the traumas you have experienced from the past that are holding you back. Let me help you on your journey toward living a more fulfilling life.

Do you feel disconnected or overwhelmed with life? I welcome you to our shared therapeutic space, where we walk together to explore your challenges and regain a sense of safety and resilience. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, identity issues, addictions, or traumatic experiences, I hold an open, empathic, non-judgemental environment where we collaborate on the approach that matches your needs. This is your journey, and your input matters deeply to me.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a MA in Counselling Psychology student, practicing under clinical supervision, I combine my experience as a crisis responder with a holistic, eclectic, strength-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach to practice. I incorporate an anti-oppressive and anti-racist approach and depict cultural humility and transpersonal respect in all client encounters and at the forefront of the therapeutic alliance.

I commend you for the vulnerability in taking this first big step to seek support. Please reach out for a free consultation to learn more about my approach or determine if I am the right fit for you. I look forward to holding space for you and your story.
