We know how stressful life can get at every stage which then results in incessant thoughts. Many times, the best of us feel anxious or depressed and we feel lost at a crossroad. We feel lost about how to cope with troubled times or manage stress while our ongoing responsibilities still need to be attended to. There can be various triggers that cause this, but we all want the same outcome in life – inner peace and happiness, isn’t it! With my personal and professional experiences, and a relatable approach, you and I can collaborate to improve your mental health. I am experienced working with clients who struggle with anxiety and depression. Let’s make healing and health your destination and I can walk with you in this journey. My aim is to help you find the power and teach you to be your own therapist! I am a mother, daughter and an immigrant, as well. My intersectionality has made me non-judgmental, empathic and sensitive to others’ needs. I would love to hear from you and join you on the road to wellness.

Whether you’re having many bad days, you suffer from anxiety, depression, you underwent a traumatic experience or a difficult childhood, we can work together on understanding yourself and finding solutions to improve your quality of life. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy, as it helps you discover yourself, your needs and improve your overall wellbeing. I would love to be a part of your journey. I, myself, have experience attending therapy so I know how scary it is at first. We can work together in a non judgemental safe space, figuring out your feelings, your thoughts, patterns and behaviours, so you can feel heard, understood and seen. I use an integrative approach, person-centred and trauma-informed  therapy. Being a minority myself, I understand the struggle that comes with being different, so feel free to be your unique different self with me. I provide virtual individual and couple sessions in English, French and Arabic.

(She/her) Becoming part of your support network is important to me. During my time working as an Addictions Counsellor, I’ve come to understand that no two situations are the same and that every client is unique. I approach the counselling process from a trauma-informed lens and this means that I will work with you to navigate your needs and implement strategies and interventions that can create possibilities for growth and healing. I am passionate about working together as you foster opportunities to enhance your mental and physical well-being. As the wife of a Veteran, and in my role as a mental health professional working with Veterans, I understand the complexity of PTSD and the cycle of addiction that may follow. I strive to provide a non-judgemental and compassionate approach that provides an environment of comfort and vulnerability. Thank you for viewing my website and I invite you to take the next step. I am currently accepting new clients and welcome you to reach out so that we can make an initial connection. I offer in-person and virtual/online sessions to support you with concerns related to addictions, generalized anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as supporting you in creating a sense of balance in your life.
